Project Consulting

Our goal is to fully understand your project and then guide you through the selection of the material that best fits your design vision, budget, site conditions and schedules. Through this process we will leverage our large inventory of standard products to reduce costs and ensure that even the most aggressive build schedules can be met.

Sales + Estimating

We translate your plans to an itemized product listing, presenting the most cost-effective options to accomplish design intent and noting any custom tooling requirements. Through this process you will easily be able to compare costs as you select the various materials (Precast, Cast Stone, GFRC, Lightweight) along with the color and finish of your choosing.

Drafting + Design

This process is critical to ensure that all parties involved in your project have a clear understanding of what is being provided. The project submittals serve to communicate detailed, dimensioned drawings illustrating profiles, quantities and locations of the materials to be provided. Structural Engineering services are also available. (Design Services)

Mold Making

The quality of Cast Stone, precast and GFRC depends largely on the quality of the mold used to make the material. For 60 years CDI has developed a proprietary method of creating the very best molds available using state of the art equipment, materials and a highly trained craftsman workforce. This process allows for precise detailing and consistency from one casting to another.

Production

Two fully automated batch plants, NPCA certified staff, 10 acres and 40,000 square feet of production space allow us handle jobs of any size. Overhead cranes and conveyor systems allow for the efficient casting of pieces weighing several tons or mass-producing thousands of castings.

Shipping & Delivery

For nearly 60 years CDI has supplied material on a national basis. This is possible because of the care taken during the packaging phase and the use of several key independent trucking firms who are familiar with the special requirements of transporting cast concrete materials. All product is insured and warrantied through the delivery process.

Installation Recommendations

CDI is a product design and manufacturing company exclusively and does no installation. Your product consultant can recommend a number of installers for your review.
